German Startups for the Energy Transition in Chile
AHK Chile, the State of Bavaria Office for South America and their partners are launching an acceleration program within the framework of the Energy Partnership Chile-Alemania (implemented by GIZ), an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy to support startups with a focus on energy transition.
This program aims to promote and enhance innovative initiatives that help to accelerate the energy transition in Chile by inviting German Series A Startups that have validated and successfully marketed innovative solutions or technologies focused on reducing emissions related to the generation and/or consumption of energy.
We welcome startups that are looking to scale up internationally and to get in contact with the Chilean energy-innovation ecosystem to connect with top corporate players, applied research leaders and the startup ecosystem in Chile.
- Application Period: 17.11. – 15.01.2026
- Communication and Pre-selection: 09.-13.02.2026
- Demo Day: 4. März (virtual)
- Trip to Chile: 17.–22.05.2026

All interested startups will be able to fill out and submit application forms until January 15th, 2026.

Kick-off: Informative Webinar 4.12.2026
The Webinar "Energy Challenge Chile & GreenTech Challenge" will take place on December 4th at 1 PM (Chilean time).

The webinar will be held in German. We will present both programs and the work with the AXEL Accelerator. Afterwards we will do live interviews with Philipp Günther from eeaser (Winner 2023) and Niklas Gemp from Nexol (Winner 2024) about the application process, selection, Demo Day and trip to Chile.
