14th Roundtable Energy Partnership - B2G (Energy Group)
The Role of Biomass in Chile's Energy Transition
Meeting in the framework of the EnergyPartnership Chile-Germany, where government leaders, pioneering companies and leading institutions came together to discuss the use of #BIOMASS as a driver of the #ENERGETICTRANSITION.
In this extensive event organized by AHK Chile, we counted with the presence of the Chilean Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Environment and the Chilean Biomass Association (AChBIOM AG). From Germany, we listened to a representative of the Federal Association of Bioenergy, sharing valuable insights on the crucial role of BIOMASS in the future of energy.
The Energy Partnership Chile-Alemania officially started in April 2019, wheen the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Chilean Ministry of Energy (MEN) signed an Agreement of Cooperation. This Partnership has a full-time secretariat in Santiago de Chile operated by the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH) which is the implementing body of this project.
